Solar Board radiant barrier sheathing, a combination of polished, perforated aluminum foil and plywood or oriented strand board, combines the benefits of an engineered wood panel with enhanced heat-flow resistance. As roof sheathing, it can reduce heat transfer through and keep attics up to 30 degrees cooler, the com-pany says. The product is available in 428-foot sheets in thicknesses of 7/16, 15/32, 19/32, 23/32 and 3/4 inches. Custom sizes and thicknesses also are available.
