Architect and blogger Bob Borson muses on the irony of spending part of the Labor Day holiday writing a blog about work-life balance.
"I can’t even begin to convey the irony of this post," Borson writes. "It is literally Labor Day – a holiday – and I’m sitting in my customary spot on the couch writing this article ... Another bit of irony is that I took a break from working so that I could write this article, which is essentially more work. When I’m done. I’ll stop working so that I can continue working."
Borson's perspective is an interesting take on work-life balance in a time when digital devices blur the lines between work and leisure.
