Biggest professional challenge: Time management has become my biggest challenge because we’ve doubled or tripled our intakes since COVID and it hasn’t stopped. I’ve had to reprioritize the way that I function and schedule things out because I have so many jobs in different stages. We’re not willing to sacrifice our quality of work. So I personally had to manage my time better to get things done the same way, but faster.
Design inspiration recommendation: Design Milk is my favorite. It highlights articles and blogs on different types of design from around the world for residential and commercial applications. It’s inspirational to see what different people are doing in different places to feed my creative juices.
When you’re doing residential design in one area, it can become redundant. So it’s great for me to get ideas and to see how I can incorporate new things into my designs.
