NARI's 2020 CotY Awards celebrate the best remodeling has to offer, reminding us of the extraordinary work our industry is producing

The remodel will allow the teenage client with Cerebral Palsy to remain in her home with no future modifications needed.

The home has energy efficient windows, appliances, LED lighting, and low-VOC paints.

The clients wanted a deck with a grand stair-case into the backyard.

Custom cabinetry adds storage, shelving for sports memorabilia and three TVs.

The homeowners desired a hall of fame for their hockey collection and a place to display their wine collection.

Large historic wood windows and an oversized glass pocket door were installed to bring in natural light.

The home now has an outdoor kitchen and kid-friendly jumping ledge.

The design makes the nearby lake appear closer and integrates the indoor and outdoor areas.

The space features PVC columns, LED lights, and a two-color paint scheme for the deck and rails.

To meet the deadline, much of the hardscaping took place while the building construction was underway.

At the time of the build, the structure had a storefront comprised of a variety of materials.

This building originally housed Ohio Bell’s service trucks.

The new kitchen is more open and a discreet staircase was added, situated so as to not disrupt flow or obstruct the exterior façade.

Attention to historic architectural details was important to the clients and is reflected in the design plan and finish selections.

A new large deck takes advantage of the spectacular mountain-lake views.

The owners’ desire for a larger master suite and entertaining spaces resulted in an addition on the back of the home.

The new, engaging outdoor spaces take advantage of the beautiful trees.
