Remodeler: Tony Parker
Architect: Tony Garcia

Built in 1928, this Spanish-style home challenged the design team with a series of historical designation requirements. Window location and material could not be altered, and only certain changes could be made to the home’s footprint.
The team rose to the challenge, especially when it came to the new garage with guest quarters above. Here, the home’s Spanish roots are beautifully articulated in a design that still manages to feel fresh and new.
A modernized kitchen (lead image) and master suite were also added to the rear of the home.
