FrogTape has expanded its flashing tape portfolio with the Pro Grade Deck and Joist Flashing Tape, a linerless, all-weather tape designed for waterproofing deck joists, stair stringers, posts, and ledger boards.

The tape combines ShurGRIP solventless acrylic adhesive with a conformable film backing that's engineered using UV curing technology. The adhesive is VOC-free, andd won't react with caulks and sealants, and is rated for installation in temperatures from 0°F to 150°F, with long-term performance from -40°F to 240°F. It offers 12-month UV resistance, self-heals around nails and fasteners, and is initially repositionable on challenging substrates, including pressure-treated wood, OSB, and concrete, without requiring primer. The tape meets AAMA 711-22, the industry test protocol for flashing tapes.

FrogTape positions the acrylic adhesive as a longer-lasting alternative to butyl-based tapes, citing better conformability on rough and uneven surfaces and a more energy-efficient manufacturing process. The tape is available in 2", 4", 6", and 12" widths in 50-ft rolls.

Pricing ranges from around $7 to $15 per roll.
