Taking Custom Furniture to the Next Level:
I’m from Maine and started doing carpentry there as a summer job to put myself through school. Over time it grew as a passion and after graduation, I decided to stick with it instead of using my degree. Along with a business partner, I launched a small remodeling and custom furniture business.
I love the people in the trades. They come in all shapes and flavors and create a unique dynamic on the jobsite.
I then decided that I needed to follow my passion for woodworking and the outdoors to Montana, where I was lucky enough to get involved in Rusty Nail Design. We do a lot of artistic installs based around bunk beds in the Yellowstone area. I’ve always been a fan of working with my hands and enjoy seeing the end product. I like watching a rough board turn into something beautiful. I also love the people in the trades. They come in all shapes and flavors and create a unique dynamic on the jobsite. It’s always fun to navigate through that world.
