Several updates were made to improve accessibility in this bathroom, including grab bars, an 18-inch-high shower bench, two handheld showerheads, and a specialty drawer designed to hold medicine bottles (above).
Taking the place of the large soaking tub, which the owner was unable to use, and the water closet that was too narrow for the owner’s wheelchair to enter, there is now a zero-threshold walk-in shower and a new WC that’s been relocated to a wider, private room.
