MSA has created the first “green” protective hard hat manufactured from sugarcane instead of traditional high-density polyethylene. The V-Gard Green meets the same performance standards as its other protective hard hats and will be marked with a recycling label. The technology used to produce this hard hat was deployed by MSA’s Brazil operations in conjunction with Braskem, a producer of green thermoplastic resins.
