A.O. Smith now offers a 75-gallon version of its Vertex high-efficiency residential water heaters, boasting up to 96 percent thermal efficiency. Water is heated by a central helical coil heat exchanger, keeping hot combustion gases in the tank longer to lengthen the heat transfer cycle. Installation is easy, with side-mounted recirculating taps for use with combination space heating/potable water heating applications. A large LCD display provides precise temperature control and advanced diagnostics.
