NARI CEO Unexpectedly Resigns

June 26, 2018

After more than four years, Fred Ulreich is no longer the CEO of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

Ulreich's resignation was made official on June 22. NARI members learned of his abrupt resignation through an email that went out around noon the same day. It read: “Fred will be taking time to pursue other professional interests and spending more time with family.” The message went on to say that an “executive recruitment process” has begun and that existing programs and services would continue.

Sources within NARI confirmed that the association will be hiring a recruitment firm to assist in finding Ulreich’s replacement, and that the association’s president, David Pekel, would act as CEO in the interim; however, they were unable to provide any further details.

As of the writing of this article, Ulreich had not responded to request for comment.
