Amid strong demand for remodeling and home renovations, Chicago area company, Normandy Remodeling, has added a prominent designer to their existing 16-member design team.
Terry Kenney, formerly of Drury Designs in Glen Ellyn, is a multi-award winning designer who is also highly active in the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Kenney serves as chairman of the local NKBA chapter’s 2013 “Design Visions” Design Competition Committee, and as the Vice President of Membership.
Kenney attended the Harrington College of Design and has over 16 years of design experience, including extensive knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design.
“Although I’ve had a great experience in the remodeling industry thus far, I was looking to step up my career to the next level in the remodeling industry. Normandy Remodeling allows me to expand my knowledge base to other areas of remodeling and larger scopes of work,” says Kenney. “I’m very excited to be with Normandy, they’re very efficient in what they do and that gives me more time to concentrate on what I do best – which is design.”
The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies has released a report predicting a 21% increase in 2013 for the remodeling industry. While some remodeling companies in the Chicagoland area have yet to witness that growth, Normandy is on track to meet or exceed those predictions in 2013.
“Terry has a lot of experience that she’s bringing to the table and does a great job staying on top of industry trends,” says Normandy Co-Owner Andy Wells. “I’m excited to have her on the team and looking forward to seeing her creative, innovative designs come to life.”
