A Foolproof Way to Earn Respect:
I remember an Apple exec once told me that he liked working with us because “we respond.”
I always respond to people quickly—email, a call, text, whatever. I remember an Apple exec once told me that he liked working with us because “we respond.” He proceeded to tell me that he’d rather get a message back saying “go f**k yourself” than not respond, because at least that way he’d know they got the message. Not something I’d recommend, but the point is not responding is giving up. Respond—it’s simple.
