Best Practice: Bratetic Construction is a small but quickly growing company, in part due to Megan Bratetic’s involvement in the community. She sits on the boards of several local nonprofits, including an animal rescue organization and Nebraska DECA, a group that prepares high school students for future careers. Her service has made Bratetic Construction more visible and has lead to a number of projects. In addition, Bratetic makes it a point to support other local businesses whenever possible. “It spreads goodwill throughout the community,” she says. Recently, Bratetic was elected as the first woman chapter president for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Greater Omaha chapter. She also serves on NARI’s national board of directors as the Chairperson of the National Marketing & Communications Committee.
