Best Practice: Miksch graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in architecture, and today enjoys developing new systems for Neil Kelly. One significant contribution stems from her willingness to innovate with new processes. To illustrate the firm’s capabilities and better communicate with clients, Miksch created instructive diagrams and graphics that clearly describe the design/build process for homeowners. In addition, she consistently uses technology to convey design strategies to clients on a big screen, using PowerPoint and SketchUp. By making changes in real time right in front of clients, they feel intimately involved in the process. Miksch continues to find new ways to make the design and sales processes visual and eagerly shares those methods with her colleagues.
