Sea Pointe Construction, Irvine, Calif.
2016 Revenue: $9 million
32 employees
Best Practice: There’s one word that isn’t in Jay’s vocabulary: No. A self-described go-getter, his passion for the job and attention to detail consistently result in happy clients and timely, profitable projects. In 2016, while overseeing the production department, Jay single-handedly managed $2.8 million in work—three times more than Sea Pointe’s second-highest–producing project manager. An active participant in Remodelers Advantage, Jay’s hunger for knowledge and high level of energy helps him and his team of four project managers and 15 in-house carpenters achieve amazing results. “The only way to stay on top and do a better job than the job prior is to learn as much as possible and test yourself and your team daily,” Jay says. “Yesterday was only practice. Tomorrow is what matters.”
