The juxtaposition of the two types of large-format porcelain tile combines masculine minimalism with an earthy, organic appeal.
The street-facing window in the shower space posed a challenge in overcoming homeowners association rules on front-of-the-house modifications (that is, there can be none). The solution was to install a thick pane of frosted glass with graphic clear banding—transparent enough to let in sunlight, but not enough to compromise privacy—eliminating the need to alter the wall.
