The event educates roofing contractors on how to enter the metal roofing market and ways to grow their business. Many people have questioned Ariel’s strategy of investing so much time and resources into the event, at no profit, year after year. But he persuaded the team to persist and to make it even larger because he believed the conference was making a positive difference. Ariel convinced them that it provided enough value to charge for admission and sponsorships. Since then, due to their marketing efforts, the company has seen a compound annual growth rate in revenue of 44 percent.
