2017 Professional Remodeler Forty Under 40

Meet the future of the remodeling industry

By BY ERIKA TAYLOR April 5, 2017
This article first appeared in the April 2017 issue of Pro Remodeler.

The 40 Under 40 is Pro Remodeler’s annual look at the remodeling industry’s future—its most innovative, most impressive young professionals. From an army ranger turned remodeler to a glass-ceiling breaker, this year’s Under-40 class stands out as one of our most inspired yet. Warmest congratulations to our winners, and thanks to everyone who entered.

A Glimpse of the Future

There is a complexity to residential remodeling that few not in the trenches will ever understand. And it's grown more so in recent years: the tools are more sophisticated; the materials are more engineered; the practices are more refined; and the competition is more savvy. On the heels of a recession and in the midst of a persistent labor shortage, it's had to be that way. Our Forty Under 40 represent a generation of remodelers taking that evolution in stride.

Whether using big data to hyper-focus ad campaigns or DISC personality profiling to boost efficiency, each of this year's distinguished awardees brings a fresh but battle-tested approach to some aspect of the remodeling industry.

If you're a remodeling professional yourself, regardless of your age, the 40 people below have something to teach you. Enjoy!
