CertainTeed Panorama Railings

CertainTeed has added an Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish to its Panorama line of capped steel baluster composite railings. Designed for flat and stair applications, all steel balusters are wrapped in PVC for the look of real wood. The pre-cut 26-¾-inch balusters come in straight, twist, single basket, and double basket styles with patented baluster shoes, yielding a 36-inch finished rail height.

NyloBoard’s NyloPorch

NyloBoard’s use of recycled carpet fiber for strong, durable, and ecofriendly products is available with NyloPorch, a true tongue-and-groove product. It offers the same features as NyloDeck, which contains no wood or PVC and is resistant to moisture, mold, and insects and provides a natural-looking woodgrain finish. It has a low thermal expansion rate and excellent fastener retention.

Designed for above-ground applications, Ecolife is less corrosive to building-code-approved fasteners and can be used in direct contact with aluminum, even in continuously wet applications.

ChoiceDek Foundation Railing

ChoiceDek offers this take on classic wood deck speed railings, now in a composite format. Railing accessories are available exclusively at Lowe’s in prepackaged kits; completion of a 6-foot section of railing requires one Speed Rail Kit, one Baluster Kit, and a pair each of post sleeves, post caps, and post collars. Post elements are sold individually. Available colors include Beach House Gray, Harvest Brown, and Coastal Redwood.
