Only one project may be submitted per Dropbox folder. Judging is based only on materials submitted to the Dropbox project folder. If you are using your entry from Chrysalis or Coty, we will also accept their digital format.
To be eligible for the 2018 Professional Remodeler Design Awards program, Professional Remodeler must receive uploaded files no later than May 25, 2018.
ENTRY FORMS
The necessary entry materials are listed below. Some must be submitted separately, as noted; others may be included in a PDF with the rest of the project materials.
1. ENTRANT INFORMATION FORM
NOTE: This form must be submitted separately and not included as part of a PDF entry. This ensures that Judges are not made aware of the identity of the company associated with an entry.
2. PHOTO RELEASE FORM
One for each entry. This form is required to verify that you are the owner of the copyright for any photos and illustrations submitted or have secured the right to use them without limitation, and grants Professional Remodeler the right to use them as we deem appropriate.

3. PROJECT INFORMATION FORM
-This form can be included in a PDF entry (strongly encouraged).
-Project cost information is requested for the judging process only; it will not be published in the magazine.
-Although judges do not have time to read complete project specs, you may want to include either excerpts or abbreviated specs that you believe will help judges understand and evaluate the project. However, the lists of product manufacturers/ brands used in the project are not part of the judging process; they may be used in the event the project is published.
4. PHOTOS, DRAWINGS, AND PLANS
These materials may be submitted as a single PDF file (strongly encouraged) or as separate files uploaded to the project Dropbox folder. They may include the following:
Drawings and Plans
Submit floor plans and any other drawings you think will be helpful to the judges. Please black out or remove the names of the remodeler, architect, designer, and interior designer.
Photographs
Use before/after photographs to illustrate the design features described in the project statement.
All “After” photos should be in color (“Before” photos may be in black and white.
If photos are uploaded to Dropbox as individual files:
-Electronic Images should be min. 300 DPI saved in TIFF or JPEG format.
-Preferred size is 8x10; minimum size is 5x7.
IMPORTANT: To eliminate judging bias, the names of the remodeler, designer, architect, and interior designer should appear only on the Entrant Information Form. Failure to follow this guideline may result in disqualification. Physical materials submitted to the Professional Remodeler Design Awards will not be returned. Entry fees are not refundable.
