Bosch has released the BAT622, the industry's first 6.0 Amp-hour 18-volt lithium-ion battery pack.
The manufacturer claims that the new battery, which is compatible with all of its 18v cordless tools, increases charge capacity by up to 45 percent. The battery also works with Bosch's electronic monitoring system, which will shut down the tool or battery before overheating causes permanent damage.
