The 2013 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali is available with the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel, which delivers 397 hp and 765 lb.-ft. of torque. It can be paired with an Allison 1000 Series transmission with overdrive, offering a maximum highway range of up to 680 miles. It also features direct injection technology for faster starts in cold weather, quieter operation, and maximum efficiency. The system helps the pickup start in as little as 3.0 seconds at -40° F and operates at nearly 30,000 psi to turn heavy diesel fuel into a fine mist, burning with lower emissions and greater power than the previous model.
