Slightly lighter than quartz and natural stone and available in ¼”, ½”, and ¾”, it’s generally much thinner than alternative materials. The thinness allows the product to be installed over existing tile, making it ideal for remodelers. To increase durability, Florim Stone ¼” slabs include a mesh backing.

9. Infinity Surfaces

Infinity Surfaces has perfected the look of natural stone without sacrificing performance with its Natura-Vein Tech. It uses colored raw materials and a controlled sedimentation process to achieve full-body composition, where the design is consistent throughout the full thickness of the tile. Because of the tile’s customizability, high-impact resistance, and affordability, its large format slabs can be used not just as a wall covering, but to create furniture such as countertops, tables, vanities, and washbasins.

10. Island Stone

Keying into a kitchen and bath design trend, Island Stone offers Spindrift Marble tiles. Made with Carrara stone, these interlocking tiles capture the cool aesthetic of marble slabs in a playful shape reminiscent of pebbles.
