Is Great Stuff Construction Adhesive easy to apply?

Won’t a foam bulge the OSB, or overflow over the joists?

Great Stuff Construction Adhesive, unlike the other Great Stuff expanding foams, has a low expansion, collapsing formula, designed to expand out of the can and then quickly collapse down to the size of a traditional caulk bead. This means more adhesive can fit in the can, while the malleable foam compressed under the weight of the substrates, just like traditional caulk. This also means the foam does a better job of filling small gaps that arise from the natural bowing of OSB and joists, further reducing floor squeaks.

Is it just for Subfloor?
