After touring the facilities of area homeless shelters, Westhill Inc. of Woodinville, Wash., decided to act as the builder captain for the Playroom Project organized by the Master Builders Care Foundation of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. To the right is one of the finished projects.

John Day, president of the Master Builders Care Foundation; Mike Elkins of Westhill; Chuck Russell, president of Westhill; and Bob Drewell, Snohomish County executive, cut the ribbon at the YWCA Pathway for Women’s project.

Day gives Elkins a hammer in appreciation of his work on the Playroom Project.
