On this episode of Remodeling Mastery, host and industry expert Mark Richardson breaks down 10 common misconceptions regarding business management for the remodeling industry. His top 10 list dissects a remodeler's biggest competitor, where profit comes from, the true signs of strong growth, and more.

"In your defense, most remodelers, they didn't go to remodeling university and get their master's degree on how to do this business," says Richardson. "Most remodeling businesses are a product of evolution. They had some sawdust in the blood, they had some interest in design, they had some real thirst to have their own thing, then they dove it, and before they knew it, they were in the remodeling business. And as a result of that, your business is a product of evolution. You figured things out. You tried. You listened to others, but there's not necessarily one way to do things."

Listen to the podcast to hear Richardson dive deep on remodeling business myths and how to break out of these misconceptions.
