Duravit, a manufacturer of luxury bathroom products, has appointed Oliver Bleich as president of Duravit Americas effective Aug. 1. He succeeds Bob Downie, whose tenure concluded at the end of July. This leadership transition addresses Duravit’s plan to grow its premium and project business in the Americas.

Bleich has extensive international leadership experience in the premium interiors and design industry, having held senior positions at Dornbracht, SieMatic, and Keuco, and most recently serving as executive vice president at Fermob USA.

His customer-focused approach is expected to support growth and strengthen Duravit’s relationships with remodelers, architects, designers, trade partners, and consumers.
