Kohler has announced a partnership with smart home automation platform Control4 to bring their technologies to Kohler's Anthem+ shower. Control4 now allows users to automate their shower experience with the Anthem+, where they can customize settings for individual users and activate these presets through voice or mobile app control.

This smart shower integration provides users with access to digital valves, a digital control, and a system controller module, along with a range of high-end, customizable features. These features include the ability to manage up to 12 outlets from a single touchscreen, dual temperature zones for targeted comfort, adjustable flow rate to control water intensity, built-in steam, and spa-like presets.

Anthem+ also comes equipped with controls for Invigoration steam, SoundTile shower speakers, and an ice shower function intended for rejuvenation. Anthem+ is an ADA-compliant product with easy-to-use controls, as well as an automatic display of water usage after each use to educate users and promote more mindful showering habits. The Kohler Konnect app, paired with Anthem+, also monitors water usage over time.

Anthem+ is sold as a component-based system; pricing on kohler.com starts at $517 for the digital control, with total system cost varying based on configuration.
