Owens Corning’s new Deck Defense roof underlayment is composed of 100-percent engineered polyolefin designed to provide both a durable first line of defense against the elements (it protect roofs for up to six months of exposure) and a secondary water-shedding barrier for long-term moisture protection. The strong, durable sheet resists tearing away from fasteners in high winds or when walked on, reducing the chance of leaks, and its synthetic construction allows it to lay flat and stay flat — even when exposed to moisture.
