New Resource Helps Construction Professionals Implement Outstanding Exterior Designs

CertainTeed idea book helps plan project design

June 14, 2011

A new exterior design resource from CertainTeed Corporation, the Living Spaces Idea Book, equips building professionals with a new tool to drive creativity and ultimately sales. The Living Spaces Idea Book helps building professionals maximize design potential by incorporating a wide selection of long-lasting, low-maintenance exterior products.

“With the Living Spaces Idea Book, building professionals can recommend superior designs to homeowners, while gaining a competitive edge,” says Phyllis Vail, director of marketing for CertainTeed’s Siding Products Group. “This valuable tool supports their success by inspiring creative combinations of siding, exterior trim, railing, fence and deck products.”

Complete with examples of well-designed home exteriors, porches, versatile decks and open-air rooms, the Living Spaces Idea Book equips contractors, builders and remodelers with the best of CertainTeed’s color, textures and style combinations. It features attractive product blends for suburban and beach homes, and shows complementary selections for farm residences and mountain hide-aways as well. For each example offered, multiple color and texture variations are highlighted to help building professionals meet customer preferences.

“The 52-page book houses inspiration for our customers to create innovative, dynamic designs,” adds Vail. “And, they can keep it with them on the go.”

Building professionals can also take advantage of CertainTeed’s ColorView online tool  to help homeowners envision what their choices will look like by viewing color combinations and styles on a wide selection of pre-mapped homes or an uploaded photo of a specific house.
