Professional Challenge: We’re in the process of transitioning company ownership from the current owner and founder to myself. Continuing to do business efficiently and successfully while also making sure he has sufficient time to train me and set the company up for success has been a real balancing act, but we started about a year and a half before the transition is supposed to happen to put us in the best position.
Best Advice: Issues are always going to come up, but it doesn’t matter what caused them. It matters how you deal with correcting the issue and preventing it from happening again.
