Texas-based contractor Matt Risinger is a fan of water heaters by Rheem, but says that their biggest downfall is their capacity.
“I estimate a typical 50 gallon unit has about 30 minutes of showering before it’s drained and that can be tight if you need back-to-back showers,” he writes.
But there’s a novel way to use the latest Rheem model that, according to Risinger, can solve this capacity issue: using a 50 gallon electric heater and a 50 gallon super insulated tank for storage.
