Projected 2023 Revenue: $10.3 million

Impactful technology: Monday.com. We’ve used this software to build out a custom CRM and project management tool for our sales and design team. The platform’s dashboards gives our departments and the leadership team quick insights that help keep us on track with company goals.

Advice for young remodelers: I follow Gary Vee [Gary Vaynerchuk] on LinkedIn. Recently he made a comment that if he’s got 20 things happening in a day, and three of them go right, he sees that day as a success, while others sometimes view the day as 17 things going wrong. Your ability to win against adversity depends on the way you see it. So the competitive nature in myself has said, “Every day I’m going to show up. I’m going put my best foot forward and keep my head up, and no matter what adversity comes, we’re going to shine through it.” One of our core values at the company is be positive and work together. I think that part of that is not looking at perfection as a place you’ll reach. So many people, especially in remodeling, envision perfection as a destination and someday they’ll get there. I’ve surrounded myself, and been mentored by, some very successful guys and they’ve made me realize that no matter if you’re doing $10 million or $40 million, you’ve still got problems on a daily basis, and you’re still making adjustments to your processes. It’s okay if we fail. It’s okay if one of your employees makes a mistake. As long as they learn from it, that mistake can turn into the best investment possible.
