A Wonderfully Long and Winding Road: 

I’ve worked at four great companies that each contributed to my personal and professional growth. First, was Kitchen Design Concepts, which hired me when I graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Interior Design. There I developed core skills around remodeling, project management, customer service, client communication, and of course, kitchen design.

In retail, I loved the interaction with women shopping and helping them see themselves differently, and how flattering the right clothes on them could be.

After 10 years, I yearned for something different, something that called to me on a more emotional level. And I found it at LOFT. In retail, I loved the interaction with women shopping and helping them see themselves differently, and how flattering the right clothes on them could be. But kitchens have always been a passion, and fortuitously I was recruited by Bentwood of Dallas to join their team.

Now in addition to being a senior design consultant, I am also giving back as the NARI North Texas Events Chair and NKBA Texas North Plains board member. I’m excited to see what the next 40 years will bring.
