Project Manager

VanderBeken Remodel

Marysville, Wash.

After retiring from 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, I was able to land my dream job in the construction trade.

Best innovation: I’ve been a project manager since 2020. In that role, I developed an internal Standard Operation Procedure for our production process. This enables us to standardize our practices no matter the size or scope of the project. We have saved a ton of labor hours with this implementation. I also revamped our existing pre-construction Ground Rules Contract and created an Expectations Agreement. This agreement outlines everyone’s responsibilities in detail. I am very proud of my role in making a difference for people that have pain and dissatisfaction in their homes. I help create beautiful spaces for fantastic people.

THE WATER WAS DEEP. Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in August 2017, and thousands of houses got soaked. If a house is constructed to get wet, dry out, and get wet again, there is much less disruption to the people who live in it.
