Featuring 13 new models that offer quieter operation and enhanced energy efficiency, the next generation of WhisperGreen ceiling-mounted ventilation fans from Panasonic Home and Environment Co. featured a brushless DC motor that expends half the energy of an AC motor, allowing the fans to be up to 550 percent more energy efficient than Energy Star standards. The fans also include Panasonic’s SmartFlow Optimum CFM Technology, which detects and compensates for additional static pressure by increasing the airflow to achieve the specified CFM output.
