Women make up a small fraction of the millions of construction workers employed in the US, and Nora Spencer is hoping to help close what she describes as "an opportunity gap for women." It has nothing to do with their ability to learn the work, she says, but more so it has to do with the fact that no one has ever shown these women that there is a place for them to find careers in remodeling.
