Pro Remodeler Joins Modernize for "Weathering the Off-Season" Webinar
This winter season is likely to be unlike any remodelers have faced. Website Modernize, which links contractors with homeowners and has currently helped facilitate over 2 million completed home projects, recently released a survey of homeowners that reveals their plans, hopes, and expectations for the unusual upcoming off-season. Pro Remodeler managing editor James McClister joined Modernize co-founder Chris Pallatroni and vice president and industry expert and veteran Gregg Hicks to discuss the results.
As the below video will show, some of the survey's results hint at potential opportunities for remodelers. For instance, while it was projected in Dec 2019 that 115.6 million people would travel in 2020 for the winter holidays, Modernize found that 76% of their surveyed homeowners intend to forgo travel. Furthermore, 55% of those homeowner plan to begin or continue home improvement projects (the majority planning for exterior projects). Why? Most (67%) said that they simply "have more time."
The group also discussed how remodelers can stay front of mind this holiday seasons. For more details, check out the below video!
