Studies have found that somewhere between 85 percent to 90 percent of new ventures fail around the time of the business’ fifth anniversary.

Construction business consultant Sean Lintow Sr. offers some practical advice on how to thrive past the five-year mark.

This includes not wearing too many hats and juggling too many tasks, making sure you always follow OSHA guidelines, appropriately classifying workers as either employee or contractor, and staying up on the latest code changes.
