The twin 5Ah 18v batteries in the brushless Makita XSL02 36V Sliding Miter Saw provides plenty of power to its 7-1/2-inch blade.
Introduced at Makita's 100th anniversary event, the saw features a single 57-degree right bevel, a 2-9/16-inch square cut capacity, and 11-3/4-inches cut length on 2-by material (8-3/8 inches at 45 degrees).
The saw is so new that pricing and availability are still uncertain.
