After the recession, growth in the manufacturing sector was more robust. Now, it looks like construction is the best career path for those who have less than a college degree, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Statistics from the Labor Department show that last year construction added about 260,000 workers, while factories added only 160,000.
The biggest obstacle in the housing industry currently holding back construction is the shortage of skilled workers.
