A psychotherapist named Thom Hartmann proposed a farmer/hunter metaphor to describe types of people, which some companies used as a guideline for their hiring process.
But according to sales trainer Duane Sparks, the farmer/hunter paradigm in sales is “a bunch of hooey.” Instead, he says that there is a new breed of salespeople, called 2.0 Sales Pros.
