A start-up company is bringing the Internet of Things to the trash can. But the product’s concept left a sour taste in Computer World reviewer Evan Schuman’s mouth.
“The GeniCan [scans] and otherwise figures out almost everything you are throwing away or recycling and wirelessly transmits that data back to the mother ship,” Schuman writes. “With that plan, what in the world could possibly go right?”
