Makita's new cordless miter saw uses a small (and somewhat hard to find) 7 1/2-inch blade that will cut 2 9/16 inches deep and 11 3/4 inches long.
The full-featured dual sliding compound saw runs on an 18-volt LXT battery and retails for less than $600.
