Homeowners usually have to buy smart appliances and have smart systems wired in their homes. But a crowd-funded startup wants to make access to a smart home easier.
A gadget called Neurio plugs into a home’s breaker box or circuit box, which could analyze the power use of the home’s existing appliances and transfer that information to a smartphone.
