Remodeling business coach Mark Paskell shares a game plan remodelers can use to have a successful business and still have a life.
“I am getting a lot of calls for coaching from remodelers who are producing $500 to $600 grand in business,” Paskell writes, “they tell me they have reached a plateau.”
He says that most contractors pinpoint the problem to not having enough time to handle the various tasks the business requires.
Paskell shares what he calls “The Million Dollar Remodeling Business Structure,” of which a key component is having the owner serve as either a production manager or sales person, not both. He also emphasizes the importance of training staff during intentionally created training time instead of sink-or-swim training, which maycause employees to leave you.
