Building science blogger Allison Bailes show us how to properly enclose a building envelope to keep water out.
Bailes uses a condominium being built in his community as an example. Spotting some problems on the construction site, such as felt on a portico roof lapped on top of the housewrap instead of under it, Bailes provides solutions and best practices that contractors should use to keep a building dry.
