Marketing: The Human Brain and Your Brand

When it comes to your logo, design matters, bigtime. Okay, it's a little technical, but the gist of it is that the human brain processes branding in five steps: 1-Familiarity (Have I seen this before?) 2-Shape recognition (curves are weak but inviting; angles are powerful but scary) 3-Mapping (Color aids memory) 4-Matching  (consistency reinforces) 5-Enrichment (specific associations with products, etc.)
