This generation is a profitable business opportunity. To put it simply, they have more ​money to spend compared to younger generations. The net wealth of households headed by people ​65 and older is 47 times greater than the net wealth of households headed by someone less than 35-years-old; 20 years ago the ratio was 10:1.
